- When is the virtual summit?The virtual summit is October 18-20, 2024. Regular ticket holders will have 3 months to access the sessions and private podcast link. ALL-ACCESS PASS Holders will have 6 months to access the sessions and private podcast link. No need to rush through the sessions and feel overwhelmed.
- Why a virtual summit?Every teacher, new or seasoned can always use support and new ideas. Who better to learn from than other Family and Consumer Sciences teachers?! A virtual summit brings every one of us together, no matter your location, experience, school resources, or time commitment. Plus there is no need for sub plans.

Are you a visual learner? Great, watch the prerecorded sessions!
Find yourself overwhelmed with information at a traditional conference? Same, now you can rewatch or listen again when you are ready. - Why should I upgrade to the ALL-ACCESS PASS?The ALL-ACCESS PASS gives you 6 months to listen to the sessions and plenty of time to go back through to rewatch if needed. You will also receive bonus classroom resources, valued over $25, to use in your own classroom.
- Do I have to be online or be somewhere specific to attend?That's the best part of a virtual summit! Each session is prerecorded and will be released October 18. You can watch all sessions that weekend or spread them out over the course of 3 months for regular ticket holders or 6 months for ALL-ACCESS PASS holders. You can watch from the comfort of your home, at a local coffee shop, or while you're on a weekend run around the neighborhood. This virtual summit can happen ANYWHERE!
- How do I win prizes?Download The Gathering & Exchange BINGO Board, score a BINGO during the weekend of the conference, October 18-20 and submit your board for a chance to win!
BINGO boards will not be accepted after 7pm CST on Sunday, October 20, 2024. A LIVE closing call will happen Sunday, October 20 at 7pm CST to announce the winners. - Can my principal/district pay for my ticket?Absolutely! Your principal/district can purchase tickets for each FCS/CTE teacher in your building/district at checkout.
- Will my district accept the professional development certificate?Your district will make the final decision about accepting the professional development certificate. This is true representation of professional development and hopefully that is recognized by your district. Even if your district doesn't accept your certificate, you are still going to learn and grow as an educator for a reasonable ticket price!
- What if I'm interested in presenting in future The Gathering & Exchange virtual summits?If you are interested in presenting during the summer virtual summit, send an email to thegatheringandexchange@tacoboutfacs.com. More information will be emailed out in the spring. It would be great to see the virtual summit grow and cover more pathways!
